Happy XOXOXO Day!

I don't think special days are all about Hallmark anymore! Those of us who craft and love handmade goods are just full of ideas and inspiration! If only there were more hours in the day! I've had so much fun creating different pillows for each holiday lately and I'm excited to roll out a new batch!

The Valentine's Day tissue cases are ruffly and girly! I've been working the ruffler attachment on my sewing machine overtime! The reusable gift tags that I've created are the gift that keeps on giving! Made of chalkcloth and my favorite: wool felt, you can use chalk to write a message and attach the tag to a gift! The lucky recipient can then, if they are willing to part with it, write their own message and pass the tag on to another recipient! It's the ultimate "re-giftable"! I've FELT this way for a long time!

Oh I love wool felt! I'm counting on these current creations to help me curb my sugar addiction! They are so sweet, maybe they'll be a good substitute....who knows!? I've been having fun making some darling, new hairclips! They were a hit today when I was a vendor at USAA. If you'd like one or two, send a note and we'll figure out which one (or two) will satisfy YOUR sweet tooth!

Winds of Change

Well, during any good monsoon season here in Arizona, we get a lot of wind! A lot! We usually go through one or two patio umbrellas a year! The winds are blowing again. We've reached our quota for broken umbrellas! boo hoo! One Walmart special is totally dead...no real tears there. But a fun, bright red one that I just put out a few weeks ago, is also injured. Severely.

The winds are blowing here at My Strawbabies too. It's out with (most of) the old and in with the new. In the coming days, I'll be adding some new fabrics and some new items to the My Strawbabies website. I'll post some photos here because I just can't wait any longer!
